Changes in Posting from December 1st
Friday 28 November 2008 at 10:44 Except for our annual August break and at Christmas, this Blog has delivered, as regular as clockwork, three Postings a week, since August 2007, providing in-depth analysis of current issues in British politics and in international relations.
We seem to have acquired quite a following in certain circles. But there comes a time when you realise that you cannot carry on giving it all away for free - as the actress said to the bishop. So, we are changing our modus operandi from December 1st, 2008.
The Blog continues, of course, but there will only be one posting per week, a mix of analysis and very occasional information about our own business and services.
Clients, of course, get more information but then they pay for that - and for our advice on reputational management and media relations (TPPR) or on sales and marketing support (Pendry White).
What we produce additionally are e-newsletters for our key contact bases.
Pendry White's Crisis Points are issued weekly (fortnightly from January 1st, 2009) and cover some of the ground of As It Happens but they are more geared to business matters and new media.
TPPR Global Issues (also appearing fortnightly from the New Year) have a profile closer to As It Happens, dealing with long term political risk and major ideological shifts. affecting reputation.
Readers of As It Happens are very welcome to subscribe to these free communications, either by contacting us at As It Happens directly or at Pendry White [ enquiries@pendrywhite.com ] for Crisis Points or at TPPR [ enquiries@tppr.co.uk ] for TPPR Global Issues.
Please be clear which you product want (though do feel free to subscribe to both) and ensure that you adjust your Spam filter in order to receive them adequately.
We reserve the right not to accept a subscription without giving a reason but we are unlikely to do this so long as we are sure that you understand who owns the copyright. We do not mind reproduction or syndication but only with full attribution to ourselves through direct negotiation.
Please also note the RSS facility on the right hand side of As It Happens.
